6 x 5 LC-MS/MS Peptide Reference Mix
A Complete Solution for Monitoring LC and MS Instrument Quality Control and Performance
In combination with an accompanying software tool, the 6 × 5 LC-MS/MS Peptide Reference Mix provides a convenient way to assess LC column performance and MS instrument parameters, including sensitivity and dynamic range.
- Consists of 30 peptides: 6 sets of 5 isotopologues of the same peptide sequence, differing only in the number of stable, heavy-labeled amino acids incorporated into the sequence.
- Labels are uniform 13C and 15N atoms.
- Isotopologues are chromatographically indistinguishable; however, since they differ in mass, they are clearly resolved by mass spectrometry.
- The isotopologues of each peptide are present in a series of tenfold dilutions. This format allows assessment of instrument dynamic range and sensitivity from a single run.
The 6 × 5 LC-MS/MS Peptides are AAA-qualified for accurate monitoring, and are compatible with multiple applications and neat or complex mixtures.

Workflow with PReMiSâ„¢ Software
The complimentary PReMiSâ„¢ Software streamlines routine analysis by:
- Eliminating  time-consuming manual calculations
- Ensuring consistent instrument performance over time
- Allowing you to compare instrument-to-instrument performance over time
Compatible with Neat and Complex Mixtures
- Use neat format for standard instrument monitoring
- Spike peptide mix into complex samples (i.e., human cell extract) to monitor instrument performance with relevant experimental samples
