Explore the theory behind cell-based assays, their applications, and why they are critical to advancing your research.
Insights into Signal Detection
Gain hands-on insights into multimodal detection systems and luminescence imaging. Select the optimal readout mode for your assays to maximize the relevance and impact of your experiments.
At the Bench: Cell Viability, Cytotoxicity, and Apoptosis Assays
Perform cell viability, cytotoxicity, and apoptosis assays. Our proven methods ensure reproducibility and reliability. In addition, multiplexing and real-time analyses provide deeper insights into complex cellular processes and help to make confident decisions.
Day 2 (End: 4:00 pm)
Presentation: Luminescence-Based Assays
Discover the advantages of luminescence technology in terms of cell health, sensitivity, and dynamic range for cell-based experiments. The range of applications extends from cell viability and reporter assays to metabolic assays.
At the Bench: Finalizing Experiments

Fee includes:
- Participation in the workshop

Accommodation Costs: Accommodation costs are not included in the workshop fee. Participants are responsible for booking and paying for their own lodging. A list of nearby hotels offering special Promega rates will be provided after registration.
Terms & Conditions for Workshop Participation
1. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be made in writing and sent to traininglabwalldorf@promega.com.
- Up to 8 weeks before the workshop: free cancellation.
- Between 8 and 4 weeks before the workshop: 50% of the workshop fee will be charged.
- Less than 4 weeks before the workshop: 100% of the workshop fee will be charged.
- Alternatively, a substitute participant may fill the paid spot.
- The workshop fee must be paid immediately upon receipt of the invoice without deduction.
- In case of late payment, Promega GmbH reserves the right to cancel the registration and offer the spot to other interested participants.
- Promega GmbH reserves the right to modify the workshop program. All significant changes will be communicated to participants in writing in a timely manner.
- In the unlikely event that the workshop is cancelled by Promega GmbH, only the workshop fees will be refunded.
- Should the minimum number of registrations not be reached 4 weeks before the workshop, Promega GmbH reserves the right to cancel the workshop.
For the safety and well-being of both mother and child, participants who are pregnant or breastfeeding may not take part in the practical laboratory session.
5. Laboratory Safety
To ensure safety in the laboratory, standard clothing regulations apply, such as closed shoes and covered legs. Personal protective equipment (lab coat, safety goggles, gloves, etc.) will be provided by Promega GmbH.
6. Liability
Participation in the workshops is at the participant's own risk. Promega GmbH is not liable for any personal injury or damage to property due to negligent behavior. Participants are responsible for any accidents during travel to and from the event, as well as during the workshop itself.
Additionally, the General Terms and Conditions (AGB) of Promega GmbH apply.
