The Maxwell® CSC Rapid ccfDNA Kit is used with the Maxwell® Instruments to provide an easy method for efficient, automated extraction and purification of circulating cell-free DNA (ccfDNA) from 1–4ml of human plasma samples. Maxwell® CSC Instruments are designed for use with predispensed reagent cartridges and preprogrammed extraction methods, maximizing simplicity and convenience. The Maxwell® CSC Rapid ccfDNA method can process from one to the maximum sample number supported by the Maxwell® CSC instruments in less than 30 minutes. The extracted ccfDNA can be used directly in a variety of downstream applications, such as digital PCR and next-generation sequencing (NGS).
The Maxwell® CSC Rapid ccfDNA Kit is intended for use, in combination with the Maxwell® CSC Instruments and the Maxwell® CSC Rapid ccfDNA method, as an in vitro diagnostic (IVD) medical device to perform automated isolation of circulating cell-free DNA (ccfDNA) from human plasma specimens. The purified ccfDNA is suitable for use in amplification- based in vitro diagnostic assays, including digital PCR.
