Maxwell® RSC Buffy Coat DNA Kit

The Maxwell® RSC Buffy Coat DNA Kit is a simple, automated method for extraction of genomic DNA from 50–250µl of buffy coat samples using the Maxwell® RSC Instruments. The kit contains all the necessary reagents for optimal DNA extraction from buffy coat and is used with the Maxwell® RSC or RSC 48 Instruments in a convenient prefilled cartridge format. The Maxwell® RSC Instrument can process from 1 to 16 samples and the Maxwell® RSC 48 can process from 1 to 48 samples in a single run. Buffy coat sample is added directly into well #1 of the cartridges (no preprocessing necessary), and purified DNA is ready for analysis in about 50 minutes. Purified DNA can be used directly in a variety of downstream applications such as agarose gel electrophoresis and other amplification-based assays. The Maxwell® RSC Buffy Coat DNA Kit is also compatible for use on the Maxwell® CSC Instrument in RUO Mode.
